Rex Ryan's middle finger cost him $50,000 in February 2010, and his mouth will cost him $75,000 this week.
Ryan was caught on video telling a fan to "Shut the f*** up" after the fan shouted "Hey Rex, Belichick is better than you!" as Ryan was leaving the field at halftime during the New York Jets' loss to the New England Patriots Sunday, Nov. 13.
The NFL officially fined Ryan Monday, which was expected, though the price was hefty because Ryan is considered a repeat offender after he was pictured flipping off Miami fans two winters ago at an MMA event.
"I’m an NFL lifer and I know I represent the NFL and I represent the Jets, so I’m accountable for my actions," Ryan told the media Monday. "So I will not appeal it."
