Brady just single-digits from touchdown milestone

By Nick St. Denis

As the NFL season hits the home stretch, Tom Brady is chasing a milestone.

The New England Patriots' future Hall of Fame quarterback is now just nine touchdowns away from the 300 career mark, which would tie him with John Elway for fifth in all-time passing scores.

Brett Favre leads the list with 508 touchdowns, followed by Dan Marino (420), Peyton Manning (399) and Fran Tarkenton (342).

Even if Brady doesn't get it done in the Patriots' four remaining regular-season games (which he will), New England is all but guaranteed a playoff berth.
