Report: Brady had shoulder X-ray, now on injury list

BY SAM HOLLINGSWORTH

The Patriots listed quarterback Tom Brady as limited in practice on the official injury report Thursday, citing the left shoulder after saying Wednesday’s absence was not injury related.

Wednesday, the same day CSNNE.com reported Brady had an X-ray on his non-throwing shoulder, Brady was at his normal press conference but was not asked about the injury or his absence.

Brady reportedly threw some passes to receivers after stretching on Thursday and was also visibly favoring his non-throwing shoulder, holding the arm close to his body.

Brady took a number of hits against the Dolphins on Sunday that could have caused the injury, but exactly when it happened is unknown. Brady is also fully expected to start and play vs. the Bills in the regular-season finale on Sunday.

Expect more details on the situation after Friday’s press conference.
