'Phins give up 9 sacks, Moore hurt in loss to Eagles

By Nick St. Denis

The Miami Dolphins' defense kept Michael Vick and LeSean McCoy mostly in check, but Miami's offensive line couldn't get a handle on the Philadelphia Eagles' pass rush.

The Eagles' defense recorded nine sacks in a 26-10 victory over the Dolphins Sunday.

Eagles defensive ends Trent Cole and Jason Babin recorded three sacks apiece, and Kurt Coleman, Casey Matthews and Phillip Hunt also recorded quarterback takedowns for Philadelphia, which handed Miami its ninth loss in 13 tries.

The Dolphins' offensive line, which lost tackle Jake Long to injury early in the game, saw quarterback Matt Moore get hurt late in the third quarter with a head injury. He didn't return, and replacement J.P. Losman took a safety in the fourth quarter.

"All the blame is squarely on our shoulders," Dolphins guard Richie Incognito told reporters after the game. "We got Matt hurt."
