Kiwanuka 'knows' Giants are better team than Jets

New York Jets coach Rex Ryan told the media Monday that the Jets have been a better team than the New York Giants lately, given the fact that the Jets have been to the AFC Championship Game the past two seasons and the Giants have missed the playoffs both years.

But Giants linebacker Mathias Kiwanuka disagrees, and he plans to prove it Saturday when the two New York metropolitan-area teams face off on Christmas Eve.

"That’s fine," Kiwanuka said of Ryan's comments. "The beautiful thing about it is that we’re going to find out real soon. I’m not worried about anything anybody says, especially somebody that’s not going to have pads on."

"... I know we’re the better team. We just have to go out there and prove it."

After all the coachspeak coming from Giants camp early this week, Kiwanuka's non-robotic comments are appreciated.
