Harrison, Rose take forefront of criticism of Gronk

BY NICK ST. DENIS

Rodney Harrison was pretty serious. Jalen Rose was pretty something else.

Harrison, a former defensive star for the Patriots, voiced his displeasure on ESPN Chicago Radio 1000 Thursday regarding the infamous Rob Gronkowski post-Super Bowl dance party (see video above).

Gronkowski was captured on video performing some fantastic dance moves before ripping off his shirt and continuing on. All of this came hours after the Patriots lost to the Giants in the Super Bowl Sunday.

"When we lost the Super Bowl, any of my Super Bowl losses, I was so devastated, the last thing I ever wanted to do was party, let alone dance or take off your shirt," Harrison said. "It's just immaturity. It's not right."

Harrison said "if Willie McGinest, Tedy Bruschi, Larry Izzo, Richard Seymour or myself had been at that party, (Gronkowski) probably would have got his head rung."

Meanwhile, former NBA star Jalen Rose gave his two cents on ESPN's Mike and Mike in the Morning.

"Forgive this term, because I didn't make it up: He was having a good time. He was white-boy wasted," Rose said.

Rose gave a half-hearted apology before the show was finished, but he had already made plenty of headlines by then. Judging by Rose's preface, he knew what he was about to say would be blown up, but he apparently couldn't help himself.
