AFC East Daily's 2012 All-AFC East Team

BY NICK ST. DENIS

While the New England Patriots were the only winning team in the AFC East, the division saw some very good individual efforts all across the board. Here's our All-AFC East Team for the 2012 season (hate if you must):

OFFENSE
QB - Tom Brady, NE | Future Hall-of-Famer just barely edged Mark Sanchez.
RB - C.J. Spiller, BUF | One of the most dynamic players in the NFL.
RB - Stevan Ridley, NE | Fumbles aside, a major sleeper with tons of upside.
LT - D'Brickashaw Ferguson, NYJ | Still an elite tackle in this league.
LG - Andy Levitre, BUF | Mr. Consistency.
C - Mike Pouncey, MIA | Can do it all, and well... especially on the pull.
RG - Brandon Moore, NYJ | Always been underrated.
RT - Sebastian Vollmer, NE | Very disciplined and good in the screen game.
TE - Rob Gronkowski, NE | Still the best tight end in the NFL.
WR - Wes Welker, NE | Lots of drops this year, yet remains extremely dependable.
WR - Stevie Johnson, BUF | Plays like he cares and made some stellar catches this season.

DEFENSE
DL - Cameron Wake, MIA | One of the better stories in pro football.
DL - Muhammad Wilkerson, NYJ | Doesn't get due credit, but will. Watch.
DL - Vince Wilfork, NE | Butt-fumble MVP.

DL - Kyle Williams, BUF | Stellar run stuffer and has hit quarterbacks his fair share.
LB - Jerod Mayo, NE | Stout in coverage and even better against the run.
LB - Nick Barnett, BUF 1A and Kevin Burnett, MIA 1B | Tough one.
LB - Brandon Spikes, NE | Too many penalties, but a small price to pay.
DB - Antonio Cromartie, NYJ | Phenomenal year replacing the best corner in the league.
DB - Devin McCourty, NE | Was stout moving from cornerback to safety.
DB - Jairus Byrd, BUF | A Pro Bowl snub. As if "Pro Bowl" means anything.
DB - Reshad Jones, MIA | Has an unteachable nose for the ball and improving steadily.

SPECIAL TEAMS

ST - Alex Carrington, BUF | Likes to get his hands on kicks.
K - Stephen Gostkowski, NE | Steady and loses very little accuracy beyond 40 yards.
P - Brandon Fields, MIA | Averaging over 50 yards a boot with 35 inside the 20.

R - Leodis McKelvin, BUF | The best punt returner in NFL and almost as good on kickoff.
