The Miami Dolphins made a pair of big signings in Mike Wallace and Dannell Ellerbe Tuesday, but they also reacquired the services of one of their own.
Miami re-signed safety Chris Clemons to a one-year deal, according to ProFootballTalk.
The Dolphins are set to lose cornerback Sean Smith and obviously felt the need to keep somewhat of the same look in the defensive backfield entering coordinator Kevin Coyle's second season. Clemons currently lines up next to standout safety Reshad Jones.
Clemons grabbed a pair of interceptions and defensed four passes in 2012. He also tallied 99 tackles, including three double-digit tackling games.
