King says Titans will 'go out hard' for Bills' Levitre

BY NICK ST. DENIS

The Buffalo Bills covered two of their top three in-house free-agent priorities over the last week, franchise-tagging safety Jairus Byrd and re-signing return man/cornerback Leodis McKelvin.

But guard Andy Levitre, one of the Bills' best players on offense, is poised to hit free agency.

At least five other teams are reportedly prepared to partake in the Levitre sweepstakes, including the Tennessee Titans.

Peter King of Sports Illustrated wrote Monday morning that he's been told the Titans will "go out hard" in trying to acquire the Bills' most versatile offensive lineman. Jim Wyatt of The Tennessean reported the Titans' interest in Levitre last week.

WGR 550 also noted the San Diego Chargers, Indianapolis Colts and Chicago Bears as being in the mix, and NFL.com added the Denver Broncos to the group. More suitors could and probably will pop up over the next 24 hours.
