Web-wide AFC East power rankings: Week 2

BY SEAN DONOVAN

Each AFC East team improved in the eyes of the national media after the Miami Dolphins and New York Jets won and the Buffalo Bills put up a better-than-expected fight but lost to the division rival New England Patriots.

No team saw their stock rise more than the Jets, who were in most outlets' bottom-three teams before defeating the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on a last-second field goal. They'll have a chance to further ascend the rankings if they can upset the Patriots at Gillette Stadium on Thursday night.
