Injury report: Kelly still out, Gronk still a go

BY DAN BEGNOCHE

The injury book for Rob Gronkowski continues to grow, but it seems his accumulated time out of the lineup won't, at least not this week.

The tight end struggled with a lingering hamstring injury throughout the week at practice but was a full participant Friday. He's officially listed as probable along with wide receivers Danny Amendola and Julian Edelman, which should provide more needed stability for Tom Brady.

On the defensive side of the ball, defensive tackle Tommy Kelly is once again listed as out for the team's bout against Pittsburgh. Kelly hasn't been active since Week 5, currently fighting a knee injury.

New England acquired Isaac Sopoaga at the trade deadline to help bolster its ailing defensive line, with coach Bill Belichick saying Friday the former Eagle is game-ready if needed.

The Pats' ailing defensive backs were able to participate in practice as well this week, albeit in a limited fashion. Cornerbacks Aqib Talib and Kyle Arrington are each officially listed as questionable but have a good chance of suiting up this weekend, though New England showed its depth can be effective last week against Miami if need be.

Here's the full slate of injuries for both teams:
