Just when we thought the Miami Dolphins' offensive backfield was settled, it wasn't.
Running back Daniel Thomas, who reportedly was lost for the season last week despite not yet getting placed on injured reserve, returned to the practice field this week and is listed as questionable heading into his team's bout with the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Meanwhile, fellow tailback Lamar Miller is probable with a pectoral ailment. Cornerback Dimitri Patterson is questionable yet again.
