Dolphins heavy up front in pre-draft preparation

BY NICK ST. DENIS

It's no secret the Miami Dolphins aren't looking far past the line of scrimmage in preparation for the upcoming draft.

Their list of pre-draft visits to this point is consistent with that notion.

Per multiple media reports and compiled by The Palm Beach Post's Andrew Abramson, the Dolphins have used up 26 of their 30 allotted pre-draft visits to this point. Ten of the 26 visitors have come in the form of offensive linemen.

Miami has hosted seven offensive tackles and three guards.

With guys like Nate Garner and Dallas Thomas slated to compete for starting jobs at tackle and probably guard, respectively, at least one of those visitors is likely find his way onto the Dolphins' campus this summer.

Here's the list of offensive linemen that have visited with Miami:

Tackles
Laurent Duvernay-Tardif, Canadian Football League
Ja’wuan James, Tennessee
Ulrick John, Georgia State
Cyrus Kouandjio, Alabama
Cornelius Lucas, Kansas State
Garrett Scott, Marshall
Billy Turner, North Dakota State

Guards
Spencer Long, Nebraska
Jordan McCray, UCF
Justin McCray, UCF
