Is New York Jets coach Rex Ryan embarrassed about how his team's season has turned out?
He was asked that question Tuesday, less than 24 hours after the Jets took another, loss, this time to the Miami Dolphins in a game they dictated for most of the night.
"Yeah, no question," Ryan said, via NJ.com. "Yep. Absolutely. One hundred percent. I'm embarrassed for myself, absolutely. It is definitely embarrassing to me. I feel like I let my owner [Woody Johnson] down, I've let our fan base down.
"Yeah, of course. There's no doubt."
Not much more to say. The Jets are a pathetic 2-10.
There's no question the Jets' players will continue to scrap for their beloved coach, but at this point, Ryan is just living out the season before he looks for another job--TV or sideline.
