Report: Rex Ryan to Bills is a done deal

BY NICK ST. DENIS

All of the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills fans in denial can now rest easy(?): Rex Ryan's move to the western part of the state is a done deal.

Multiple media outlets reported and confirmed early Sunday that former the former Jets coach Ryan was working out a deal with his divisional rival, the Bills, after a second interview this weekend.

Late Sunday afternoon, the Associated Press reported Ryan has accepted the job.

The contract spans five years and is reportedly with $27.5 million. The marriage was a quick one after it appeared a perfect match had been brewing between Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons.

In Buffalo, Ryan inherits a very similar situation to the one he left in New York--a stellar defensive line, and very good overall defense and a very suspect quarterback situation... coupled with an on-and-off offensive line.

Gang Green, meanwhile, is reportedly waiting for the Seattle Seahawks' season to come to an end before they hire Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn.
