Rex plans to lure many Jets assistants to Bills

BY EDITOR

With Rex Ryan making the move across the state and across the division, he reportedly plans on taking a handful of his assistants with him.

According to ESPN New York's Rich Cimini, the new Buffalo Bills coach will be after New York Jets defensive coordinator Dennis Thurman, defensive line coach Karl Dunbar, defensive assistant Jeff Weeks, defensive backs coach Tim McDonald and quarterbacks coach David Lee.

Cimini said offensive assistant Tony Sparano Jr. assistant head coach/running backs coach Anthony Lynn are also on the radar.

It's just as well for the Jets, who face an overhaul in the assistant department once their new head coach is hired. However, they'd be served well to do as much as humanly possible to keep Dunbar around.
