Wilfork: Lynch carries the torch for the Seahawks

The New England Patriots will have their hands full with Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch Sunday in the Super Bowl.

“Hands down, I think he’s the best,” Patriots defensive tackle Vince Wilfork said, via CSNNE. “He’s proving it in the passing game, running game, blocking, you name it. ... He is exactly what his name is called: Beast Mode."

According to Pro Football Focus, Lynch forced 88 missed tackles in 2014, a whopping 21 more than the next guy--Demarco Murray. The Patriots better practice wrapping up this week.

"You can just tell he gets that team going," Wilfork said. "When he’s out there running the ball well, running over guys, running through guys, running around guys, he gets that whole sideline going, offense, defense, he’s the one I think carrying the torch when he’s on the field, hands down."
