Devin McCourty: Patriots the NFL's lone dynasty

With Sunday night's win, the New England Patriots have captured their fourth Super Bowl title in 14 years. They've missed the playoffs just twice in that span and lost two other Super Bowls on final drives.

And defensive back Devin McCourty is certain they're a dynasty--the only one in the league, in fact.

“You just keep fighting and I think that’s why this organization is the only dynasty in the NFL because of the belief in the players, the belief the players have in the organization and Bill and our leaders, Tom and Vince,” McCourty said, via WEEI. “We could lose it but we don’t see it that way. We just see keeping playing to the end and we’ll win it.”

The Patriots got off to a rocky start to the 2014 season by their standards but clawed their way to a stellar finish. A gutsy win in their first playoff game, a smooth ride in the conference title game and a down-to-the-wire bout in the Super Bowl earned the team yet another championship.
