OT Jason Fox inks two-year extension with Dolphins

The Miami Dolphins offensive line showed some improvement in 2014 from the previous season. Then again, that wasn't the toughest feat.

One of the contributors to the upswing, tackle Jason Fox, was rewarded for his efforts Thursday, signing a two-year deal with the team for $2.5 million, according to the Sun Sentinel.

Fox started two games for the team toward the end of last season and appeared in nine, and he's expected to compete for the starting right tackle gig in 2015. Dallas Thomas, whom Fox replaced, will likely be moved inside to guard.

Teammate and defensive tackle A.J. Francis threw out some props via Twitter to the 26-year-old, who was previously earning the league minimum.
