A glimpse into how Patriots work out prospects


It's no secret Bill Belichick runs a tight ship, and the New England Patriots likely carry that mentality into their work with prospective players.

On Sirius XM's "Moving the Chains" Monday, Northwestern safety Ibraheim Campbell gave insight into his private workout with the Patriots. Campbell is a projected mid-round pick in this year's draft.

Per ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss:
"It started out by doing a couple movement drills, just making sure you're warmed up and are able to go full speed throughout the entire workout," Campbell said. "Then they put me though position work -- I started out just kind of seeing how good my feet were, and then some realistic type game movements that maybe they'd expect to see playing safety at the NFL level, just to see how I'd move in their schemes."
