Bills giving tryout safety Wes Miller a shot

Rookie Wes Miller showed up to Buffalo Bills rookie minicamp on a tryout basis. So far, so good for the former UTEP safety.

Buffalo signed the 5-9, 193-pounder Monday, making Miller the seventh safety on the roster.

Last season, Miller led the Miners defense in tackles (74), solo stops (42) and interceptions (two). He started all 12 games, finishing the season tied for second on his team in pass breakups with six. Miller also scooped up a fumble recovery.
