Wilkerson on whether he'll attend minicamp: 'We'll see'

The New York Jets start their mandatory minicamp on Tuesday. Whether Mo Wilkerson will be in attendance remains to be seen.

The 25-year-old, who's heading into the final year of his rookie contract, has been trying to work out a long-term deal with the team this offseason but has yet to come to an agreement. He was a no-show for the team's OTAs, and he'll apparently have a decision about whether he'll be showing up for next week's workouts by Monday.

"I guess we'll see," Wilkerson said via NJ.com Friday. "That's something my agent and I will discuss this weekend. That decision will be made sometime this weekend."

The former All-Pro defensive lineman spoke for the first time since December Friday night, the first time since the team drafted first-round pick and fellow lineman Leonard Williams back in May.
