Wayne Hunter's stay with Bills lasts less than a month

Well, that was over quickly.

Less than a month after signing free agent Wayne Hunter, the Buffalo Bills have released the veteran offensive tackle.

The team announced the move Tuesday.

It was a questionable acquisition to begin with, as Hunter had been out of the NFL since 2012. Before that, he was a serviceable blocker and had his share of struggles with the New York Jets under now Bills coach Rex Ryan.

So sorry Jets fans, the joke is over... Then again, of course, now he's available for a return to Gang Green. Wouldn't you like that?
