Dolphins promote special teams coordinator

The Miami Dolphins announced Monday they have promoted special teams coordinator Darren Rizzi to assistant head coach/special teams coordinator.

Rizzi is in his seventh season as an NFL assistant and fifth as the Dolphins' special teams coordinator. He joined the team as assistant special teams coach in 2009.
