Fullback James Develin will remain with the New England Patriots.
Via Jeff Howe of the Boston Herald:
Develin was a restricted free agent, but the Patriots weren't going to offer him the low, $1.6 million tender, which would have given them the right to match any contract in free agency. Instead, the two sides reached a different deal before the start of free agency.
The Patriots also plan to tender special teamer Brandon King and and cornerback Justin Coleman, which they've already done with tackle Cameron Fleming.
