NFL rules regarding PAT length, chop blocks changed

Not a fan of the longer PAT? Sorry, but it's here to stay — at least for now.

The extra-point length was one of seven approved rule changes at the NFL owners meetings Tuesday, according to Pro Football Talk, a product of last season's one-year trial period.

Chop blocks were completely banned, and horse collar rules were expanded, as well.
