As expected, Wilkerson not expected at Jets workouts

Defensive lineman Muhammad Wilkerson was a no-show at the New York Jets' voluntary workouts Monday.

Per Newsday:
[The Jets] expected Wilkerson’s absence this week due to his injury and ongoing contract situation. The star defensive end also skipped voluntary workouts and organized team activities last year because of stalled contract talks. He returned on the first day of mandatory minicamp.
Gang Green put their franchise tag on Wilkerson, who has yet to sign the $15-plus-million tender. He's looking for a longer term contract and is on his way back from a broken right fibula he suffered in last season's finale.
