NFL to live stream 10 Thursday night games on Twitter

The NFL's hunt for a stronger online presence during games continued Tuesday, as the league announced an agreement with Twitter to live stream 10 Thursday night matchups during the 2016 season.

Games from CBS and NBC broadcasts will be simultaneously shown on the social media site, according to Andrew Abramson of the Palm Beach Post, while NFL Network-exclusive games will still only be available through that station.

Roger Goodell released a statement on the agreement, calling it "the right partner for the NFL as we take the latest step in serving fans around the world live NFL football."
