Buffalo Bills wide receiver Sammy Watkins had surgery to repair a small broken bone last month. Coach Rex Ryan asserts that leaves plenty of time for him to make it back by Week 1.
"He's not going to miss any time," Ryan said Tuesday, via Tyler Dunne of The Buffalo News. "By the time the regular season comes around, Sammy Watkins is not going to miss any time. Now, do we have a timetable on when he comes back specifically? No, we're not going to give you that. But I'll tell you this, he'll be ready to go in the regular season."
According to Dunne, Watkins was present for Tuesday's OTA practice, on crutches with the recently repaired foot in a boot.
