Patriots' defensive front on the attack

The New England Patriots were all over Brian Hoyer Sunday night.

Despite the Houston Texans quarterback's former allegiance with the Patriots, New England's defensive front had no mercy for its ex-teammate.

Ochocinco likely to remain with Pats' stout WR group

BY SEAN DONOVAN

ESPN's Adam Schefter reported Friday that Chad Ochocinco will 'absolutely' remain with the Patriots for the 2012 season.

Ochocinco is fourth among active players in both career receptions and career receiving yards

The Patriots have been busy this free agency period, especially in regard to their recieving corps. Matthew Slater and Deion Branch were re-signed, and Wes Welker was given the franchise tag. They will be joined by free agent aquisitions Brandon Lloyd, Anthony Gonzalez and Donte' Stallworth.

New England's current receivers have 12 Pro Bowl appearances between them. All Pro quarterback Tom Brady will have some quality options in addition to star tight end Rob Gronkowski and Aaron Hernandez, even if not all of these players make the final roster.
