Rams, not Bills, to be featured on HBO's Hard Knocks

Sadly, The Brothers Ryan or Living Incognito will not be titles of a Hard Knocks episode this summer.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, the recently relocated Los Angeles Rams will be featured on the perennial HBO training camp mini series, not the Buffalo Bills:
There were rumblings that the numerous drama-laden elements to Buffalo's squad may yield consideration, but a move to the West Coast has clearly trumped any of the Bills' story lines.

Marrone on not getting Hard Knocks: It doesn't matter

BY DAN BEGNOCHE

The Buffalo Bills were seen as one of a handful of finalists to be chosen for the HBO series "Hard Knocks" during this year's training camp. Thursday, the announcement came out that the Atlanta Falcons, not the Bills, would be appearing on the program.

Buffalo coach Doug Marrone was pretty shaken up over the announcement.

"It doesn’t matter. If they say the Buffalo Bills have to do it, we do it," Maronne told reporters via buffalobills.com. "If they say the Buffalo Bills don’t have to do it then we don’t have to do it. I don’t worry about it. I just don’t worry about it. I never even thought about it."

BY NICK ST. DENIS

HBO has struggled to find a team for its 2012 "Hard Knocks" series, and the Dolphins have struggled to stay relevant over the past few years, so the two are attempting to alleviating each other's issues.

The Dolphins announced Tuesday that they'll be featured on the five-episode documentary this summer, which will premier Tuesday, Aug. 7 and end Sept. 4.

"We thought it was in the best interest of the organization to do it at this time," Dolphins first-year coach Joe Philbin told reporters after the announcement, according to the team's Twitter feed.

Miami hasn't had a .500 or better season since 2008, and they're not among the league's more talked-about teams, but the Dolphins have enough going on this offseason to draw a decent amount of interest.
