Marshall steady through Dolphins' woes

The Miami Dolphins haven't been good this year, but Brandon Marshall has.

Marshall is ranked near the top of the league in receptions with 59, and he's been relatively consistent all season. The sixth-year wideout has amassed 850 yards and is picking up 14.4 yards a catch.

Stat-wise, Marshall has been the best receiver in the AFC East not named Wes Welker. Marshall has been especially good in the third quarter of games, where all three of his touchdowns have come.

He made a spectacular catch Thursday in the Dolphins' tight loss to the Cowboys, as he hauled in a touchdown with Cowboys cornerback Terence Newman on Marshall's back putting Marshall in a borderline chokehold.
