Week 11 guide to Bills', Jets' rooting interests

With the New York Jets (5-5) and Buffalo Bills (5-4) trailing the New England Patriots (6-3) and likely fighting for a Wildcard playoff spot for the remainder of the season, here are the teams Jets and Bills fans should be rooting for in Week 11:

Minnesota Vikings
The Vikings host the Oakland Raiders Sunday. Oakland is 5-4 and will be in the Wildcard battle if it falls out of the AFC West lead.

Chicago Bears
The Bears are hosting the San Diego Chargers (4-5), who despite looking average this year, are always a playoff threat in the second half of the season. A Chargers loss would put San Diego in a tough hole to crawl out of.

Atlanta Falcons
Atlanta is hosting the Tennessee Titans, who are also 5-4 and in the hunt for a Wildcard.

Toss-up No. 1
The Patriots aren't likely to lose to the Kansas City Chiefs (4-5) Monday night, especially with Chiefs starting quarterback Matt Cassell out. With the Chiefs still technically in the Wildcard hunt, a Patriots win wouldn't necessarily hurt the Bills' or Jets' playoff chances, though if the Bills beat the Miami Dolphins and the Patriots somehow lost, Buffalo would be tied atop the division with the head-to-head tiebreaker over New England.

Toss-up No. 2
The AFC North's Baltimore Ravens (6-3) and Cincinnati Bengals (6-3) currently hold the two Wildcard spots. Since they face each other Sunday, either team winning will do. That division will likely have a strong playoff presence with the Pittsburgh Steelers (7-3), who are on a bye, holding one of the top seeds.
