Week 13 AFC East game picks: Jaguars at Bills

Lead writer Nick St. Denis and AFC East Daily contributors Dan Begnoche and Sean Donovan pick the Buffalo Bills' home AFC matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Nick's take:
The Jaguars have given up 14 rushing touchdowns so far this season and have surrendered 136 yards a game to opposing running backs. That should spell a big day for Buffalo running back C.J. Spiller, and don't be surprised if Fred Jackson, who used to hold Spiller's role as the team's best player, gets his, too. The Bills' pass rush will continue to come around, as well.
Prediction: Bills 24, Jaguars 14

Dan's take:
The Bills' run defense has been much better of late, allowing an average of only 74 yards the last two games. Against a broken and battered Jacksonville running game, that just might be enough to turn the Jags completely one-dimensional. Chad Henne and Cecil Shorts have fared well lately, but expect the more complete Bills to take a must-win at home behind a stout rushing attack.
Prediction: Bills 28, Jaguars 22

Sean's take:
Jacksonville has been sparked since inserting the former Dolphin Henne into the lineup, but the rest of the Jags' offense is decimated by injury. It'll struggle against an improving Buffalo defensive front, and a heavily-involved Spiller powers the offense en route to a home victory for the Bills.
Prediction: Bills 21, Jaguars 16
