Tannenbaum chummy with Revis's agent in Big Easy

BY NICK ST. DENIS

Darrelle Revis's agent, Neil S. Schwartz, was instrumental in making Mike Tannenbaum's life (from a general manager standpoint) a living hell during a good chunk of Tannenbaum's tenure heading the New York Jets.

So it's only fitting that the two are rubbing elbows, smiles included, in New Orleans just before the Super Bowl.

Adam Schefter tweeted this photo Friday of Tannenbaum and Schwartz looking quite chummy outside a hotel in the Big Easy.

Schwartz advised Revis during his infamous holdout that saw Tannenbaum spend nearly the entire 2010 offseason tugging and pulling at whatever hair he had left. The sides never came to an agreement on a long-term deal that would make Revis "a Jet for life" as both insisted they were looking for.

But Tannenbaum was fired following the 2012 season, so I suppose he's just as happy to not have to deal with Revis's camp -- Schwartz included -- anymore. That job will now be left to new GM John Idzik.
