Web-wide AFC East power rankings: Week 1

Though much has changed in the AFC East this offseason, the story pretty much stays the same. Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are the heavy favorites to carry the division once again despite losing four of their top five receivers from a year ago.

The Miami Dolphins have convinced few that they're serious contenders despite doling out hundreds of millions in contracts in free agency, and the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets are in rebuilding mode after significant organizational changes in the offseason.

Here's where the four AFC East teams stand in the major media outlets' NFL power rankings entering Week 1:
