RPT: Revis at voluntary workouts, will make $175 a day

He's in the building.

Cornerback Darrelle Revis, the New England Patriots' blockbuster free agent acquisition, worked out with his new teammates in the voluntary program Monday at Gillette Stadium, as reported by Jeff Howe of The Boston Herald.

His contract does not have an offseason workout bonus built in, so he'll be making $175 a day for his participation, according to Howe.

Revis, who technically won't be seen in any real football-related capacity until on-field training begins May 5, had reportedly been working out with defensive backs Logan Ryan and Tavon Austin in Arizona during the offseason.

After being released by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March, Revis signed a one-year, 12 million contract with the Patriots. New England has a second-year option with the former rival New York Jets defensive back.
