Most Patriots fans would just like to see a healthy Rob Gronkowski this season, but they'll have the opportunity to see much more of the eccentric tight end long before training camp begins.
Known at times to indulge in somewhat questionable offseason activities, the 25-year-old is keeping things PG-rated, at least for the time being.
According to the website Awful Announcing, Gronk is scheduled to appear on the revamped improv comedy show "Whose Line is it Anyway?", now appearing on the CW network.
Gone are days with host Drew Carey, though original cast members Wayne Brady, Ryan Stiles and Colin Mochrie have returned to the show that made, well at least Brady, a household name. Now hosting is Aisha Tyler, likely most well-known for her time on the E! network (we're told), and the format has changed slightly to include a celebrity guest each show.
Enter Gronkowski.
The tight end will make his appearance Monday, June 2; the show airs at 8 p.m. EST, according to the network's website. CW revived the once popular ABC program after a two-year hiatus, airing the first episode of the remake in July of 2013.
Our only questions? How long it'll take for Gronk's shirt to "accidentally" come off, and whether he'll use those obnoxious black-rimmed "glasses" he rocks to impersonate Carey.
