With decades of experience playing quarterback on a daily basis, Tom Brady has been heavily involved with his centers.
Too involved? Depends who you ask.
“Center-quarterback relationship is a pretty special one. I have my hands on their butts probably more than their wives,” the New England Patriots signal-caller said Friday, via ESPN Boston. “You know, it’s a pretty unique trust and relationship you have.”
Fair enough.
As of now, however, Brady is getting to know a few different butts, as the team is currently fielding a positional competition for the top spot on the depth chart between incumbent Ryan Wendell and veteran Dan Connolly. Rookie Bryan Stork was in the mix but has been sidelined to injury.
