Pouncey likely a no-go, Clay questionable for Sunday

BY NICK ST. DENIS

The Miami Dolphins got some good news when center Mike Pouncey returned to the practice field this week, but it appears the team and its best offensive lineman aren't going to push it.

Pouncey is listed as doubtful for the Dolphins' Week 3 home bout with the Kansas City Chiefs.  Meanwhile, as expected, running back Knowshon Moreno is out, as is linebacker Koa Misi and guard Shelley Smith.

Perhaps the most important note on the injury report is tight end Charles Clay, who is listed as questionable with a foot ailment.

Here's the full slate of injuries for the team:

LB Koa Misi (ankle)
RB Knowshon Moreno (elbow)
G Shelley Smith (knee)

DOUBTFUL
DE Terrence Fede (knee)
C Mike Pouncey (hip)
LB Jordan Tripp (chest)

QUESTIONABLE
TE Charles Clay (knee)
G Billy Turner (foot)

PROBABLE
S Walt Aikens (hand)
T Branden Albert (shoulder)
S Louis Delmas (calf)
LB Jonathan Freeny (calf)
DT Bruce Gaston (knee)
LB Jelani Jenkins (shoulder)
LB Philip Wheeler (thumb)
