Wallace plans to be on the move in Revis' shadow

BY NICK ST. DENIS

New England Patriots cornerback Darrelle Revis is poised to spend most of his Sunday afternoon shadowing Miami Dolphins receiver Mike Wallace.

Wallace is looking forward to the challenge.

“If he does follow me, it will be an exciting matchup,” Wallace said Tuesday, via The Miami Herald. “I’ll have fun. Go after it all day long.”

Under new offensive coordinator Bill Lazor, the Dolphins are expected to move the speedy Wallace all over the field in an attempt to create mismatches. Against Revis, Wallace will take any help he can get.

“He’s a good player. He’s a really smart, crafty guy," Wallace said. "He’s going to be in the right spots. You have to move him off his spots because he’s a guy that’s not going to be fooled with all the movement, jerking around at the line.

You’ve got to get going, get to your spots and be fast out of your break.”

If Revis sticks to Wallace, Logan Ryan and/or Alfonzo Dennard will line up against Brian Hartline, quarterback Ryan Tannehill's go-to target and the team's leading receiver a season ago.
