Bills sign corner Brandon Smith to practice squad

BY EDITOR

The Buffalo Bills announced Monday they have signed cornerback Brandon Smith to the practice squad.

Smith spent time with the Bills in 2013 and was active for two games that year before being released this summer in training camp.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound Arizona State product entered the league in 2011 as an undrafted free agent with the Carolina Panthers.

That year, Smith spent stints in the Panthers' and Seattle Seahawks' training camps but didn't make it to the regular season. He played in 25 games, with four starts, at Arizona State.
