Amendola restructures with Patriots, lowers cap hit

Wide receiver Danny Amendola has given the New England Patriots a little relief.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Amendola has restructured his contract, giving the Patriots a little more salary cap room to work with.

The team's No. 3 wideout has three years left on the deal and is slated to make $12.75 million in that span, with incentives that could get him up to $15 million.
