Revis won't be hurting for money any time soon

Cornerback Darrelle Revis insists his return to the New York Jets wasn't all about the money.

That could very well be so, but the money isn't a problem either way. gave a simple but explanatory breakdown of Revis' new contract with Gang Green, which includes $39 million in guaranteed money, a maximum length of five years and a maximum value of $70 million.

He's still arguably the best cornerback in the NFL, and he continues to be paid that way. It's what the market bears, and that's just fine and dandy for the Jets, who had the cap space to spend.
