Rex: Revis to Jets 'probably good for his legacy'


Rex Ryan spent a half-decade as cornerback Darrelle Revis' biggest cheerleader, and Ryan thinks that Revis is back where he belongs... even if Ryan himself is no longer there.

“He’s a great player, he won a Super Bowl with New England, but he’s a Jet," the Buffalo Bills coach--formerly of the Jets--recently told the NY Daily News. "He got drafted a Jet. It’s probably good for his legacy he goes back to New York.”

Revis was one of the most beloved players of all time among the Gang Green faithful until a somewhat iffy breakup two years ago, which was followed by the All-World corner going to the Jets' rival--making him maybe the most hated.

All seems to be back to par, however, and Revis' biggest fan apparently thinks so, too.
