RPT: Bills to swap Kiko for McCoy in trade with Eagles

The Buffalo Bills seem to have figured out their plans at running back, and it looks to be at the expense of their 2013 second-round draft pick.

According to ESPN's Adam Schefter via Twitter, the team has agreed to a straight-up trade for LeSean McCoy, the Eagles' star backfield presence. The move sends linebacker Kiko Alonso to Philadelphia and likely means that C.J. Spiller's time in Buffalo is over, as well.

The deal cannot officially go down until next week, the start of the new season, but it will reunite Alonso with former Oregon coach Chip Kelly. It will also bring a much bigger salary into Buffalo, as McCoy is set to earn just north of $10 million in 2015.
