Lazor to bear weight of Miami's red-zone inefficiencies

The Miami Dolphins were 21st overall in red-zone scoring last season, their first year in Bill Lazor's offensive system.

That's far cry from where he'd like to be; heck, it's a far cry where fans would like the offense to be, for that matter.

So for this season, the second-year coordinator is putting the success for the red-zone unit on his shoulders.

"We’ve put the responsibility on me to evaluate the guys that we have and to use each of them the way they can best be used in the red zone," he said via Omar Kelly of the Sun Sentinel. "That’s the promise I’ve made to them.

“I think that’s my responsibility and the coaching staff, to evaluate the guys you have and use them how they should be used."
