Dee Milliner cleared to go, other Jets not so fortunate

New York Jets cornerback Dee Milliner has been cleared for practice when training camp starts Thursday, avoiding a spot on the active/physically unable to perform list.

The former first-rounder missed most of last season thanks to an Achilles tendon tear and had been limited this offseason, but it appears he's ready to go.

ESPN New York's Rich Cimini assumes he'll still be limited in practice as things start. He's already looking up at Darrelle Revis, Antonio Cromartie and Buster Skrine on the depth chart.

Meanwhile, the team placed former New England Patriots running back Stevan Ridley on PUP with a knee ailment. Guard Willie Colon also is on the list with a knee, as is defensive lineman Kevin Vickerson with a hamstring.
