The New England Patriots play Thursday night, and right tackle Marcus Cannon was nowhere to be found Tuesday. At least on the practice field.
Cannon hasn't played since suffering a toe injury a week and a half ago against the Indianapolis Colts. And according to ESPN Boston's Mike Reiss, Cannon was absent from his team's walk-through, "an indication that he is highly unlikely to play" when the Miami Dolphins come to town in two nights.
That means we should see former practice-squader Cameron Fleming, who was called up last week, against Cameron Wake in the primetime bout.
