Current odds have Pats favorites to win Super Bowl

Based on their success the past decade or so and six big-game appearances since 2001, picking the Patriots to win the Super Bowl has historically been a pretty safe bet.

The same holds true this season.

Following a 2015 campaign that saw the team lose in the AFC Championship game to the Denver Broncos, New England is the current favorite to win it all in 2016.

According to the online betting site Bovada, the Pats' odds are currently at 15/2, leaps and bounds better than their divisional opponents.

Both the New York Jets and Buffalo Bills are listed as 50/1 shots, while the Miami Dolphins are one of the bigger long shots at 66/1.

The Tennessee Titans and the Cleveland Browns currently have the worse odds of winning Super Bowl LI at 100/1 and 150/1, respectively.
